Poor quality

Not happy with the fit… all my hats the dome (forehead) is usually firm. I have the navy blue carhartt jays hat from years ago… still firm like new. For some reason this one is soft and collapses when you put it on. Exchanged and the new one fit the same. Maybe I’ll try to find in stores I don’t know if the online stuff if just like this but I’m not happy with this.

Appreciate the review and sorry to hear your disappointment with the cap. So, the CAPTAIN RL is a relaxed fit cap, it being soft is by design. We had that info listed on the product page, but understand how it could get missed.

The CAPTAIN cap that is structured won't have RL in the title. There were a bunch of customers who experienced the same as you. I think maybe we need to have a better image that shows that it's unstructured.

Not great

The front panel and crown don’t maintain their shape, it sort of crumples and caves in on itself, I have three other Captain hats and never experienced this.

I see they have updated the new release with some nice changes, the inside has a breathable material, and the overall size of the dome and cap is smaller than previous years releases.

Not happy with the material at all

Not happy with the material at all. I’ve owned dozens of carhartt hats and none of them are like this. The top of the hat had these wrinkles like the hat was run over by a car a few times

Structure was dented/uneven

Great hat, but the structuring was misshapen/ dented upon arrival, and hasn’t evened out to date.
