I wasn't sure about buying this hat because I usually only wear red hats, but boy am I sure glad I took a chance on this one. As I said, I normally only wear red hats, in part because I'm a life-long Memphis Redbirds fan, in part because my Vietnamese mother-in-law will only speak to me if I'm wearing red because she considers me naturally unlucky. Anyways, I thought I would try something new because I heard a preacher on the radio say only a fool does the same thing over and over and expects things to change, and my life has been in a bit of a rut lately. I've had my hours reduced at the fish-packing plant because the bosses say this new AI technology is going to change everything about canned fish production, and they're getting ready to switch over. My wife was a little upset when that happened and I think she's been talking to my mother-in-law about it (I can't be totally sure because I don't speak Vietnamese and my wife refuses to translate for me) because she's been hitting me on the head every morning with her walking stick and giving me dirty looks at dinner time. Anyways, so I think something needed changing, so I thought maybe I'd buy a Blue Jays hat. It seems like they are a popular team nowadays, which I think must mean the team is full of good people, because the preacher on the radio said God rewards the good and punishes the wicked. And I think it's important to support good people because often bad things happen to them, which is really sad, so I bought this hat to support these fine young men who play baseball and do so much good for the world. Anyways, I was wearing this hat to work, and the young lady who works at the Baskin Robbins near my work was really surprised because she said she'd never seen me without my old red hat, and she thought maybe I was some kind of rude person, because apparently there's something about rude people wearing red hats. This was news to me, but I assured her I always try to be polite because my mom always told me that was important, just like the preacher on the radio told her. And she said I looked really good with a blue hat on instead of a red hat, and that if I wanted she would like to go on a date with me sometime. This was really surprising to me, and I told her that I cannot go on a date with her because I'm already a happily-married man. She said she understood, but she still gave me an extra scoop of chocolate chip mint ice cream, which was really nice and helped me have a great day. And all just because of my new blue Blue Jays hat. So a very good hat, would recommend anyone wear one and see if they look better. Anyone reading this, could you please pray for my mother-in-law, who is very grumpy and I think could really use the Lord Jesus in her heart.
